Oscar Wild Monologue: Part One
There really are no sure things this year except for one: An Inconvenient Truth will win best documentary. (I say this having seen none of the other nominated movies in this category.) And I tell you, I'm looking forward to it. I enjoy discovering the many faces of Al Gore, and I hope they will let him accept the award even though he is only the documentary subject.

Interesting point, NDGD. I, for one, think the dark horse in this race is "Deliver us from evil." I mean, I liked "Inconvenient Truth," but I'm not sure I considered it a great cinematic triumph.
